We have our prototype kitchen, creative drive and a wide network of institutes and research laboratories to bring the ideas and products to commercialization. If customers have their facilities for development but need more resources, we offer our resources to run entire projects by customer standards. We have specialized in improving technical kibble quality and are ready to help you with the challenges you meet for the time being. NUTRITION AND FORMULATION The Passion4food principles and practices of formulation and nutrition are to provide recipes that produce a positive impact on nutritional value to meet specific nutritional needs. The formulation requires an in-depth understanding of the nutrient requirements of an animal species, ingredients in terms of nutrition (composition)and processing (functionality), and costs and availability of the ingredients. Combining all these factors, a formulation is basically a knowledge of feed and specific animal species. We specialise in aqua (fish and shrimp) and the pet food sector, where we monitor over 70 essential nutrients during the formulation process and all to meet specific nutritional needs required by our customers. We use a feed/food formulation package which, supported by a database of ingredients, helps us to provide a good service to our customers where they can further easily measure the adequacy and quality of our recipes. Our educational background in nutrition and processing technology, followed by many years of working experience in the commercial industry, can fulfil challenging demands in these fast-growing markets (aqua feed and pet food), ensuring high-quality food/feed both concerning the quantitative requirements for specific nutrients and from the viewpoint of practical feed formulation including focus to a high technical feed/food quality customer demands. ORGANISATION OF ETHICAL ANIMAL TRIALS We are focusing on organising studies on pet animals, focusing on pet well-being and welfare. We manage palatability, digestibility, stool quality and tailor-made clinical studies with our partners, universities, institutes, veterinary centres and pet parents. LABORATORY AND METHOD DEVELOPMENT We have a technical lab where the technical properties of both raw materials and final products can be evaluated. Many years of experience in process and product development, including testing the physical and nutritional quality of raw materials and feeds, allows us to recognise the most flexible, trustable and secure instruments for accessing the quality of tested materials. Combining our know-how and different tools describing functional properties puts us in a unique situation to help our clients solve today`s challenges after high customer demands. We are a licenced micro tracer lab, which involves services related to the optimisation of mixing processes, ranging from correct sampling methods to the validation of mixing quality and the determination of the carry-over level.
